Welcome to Spore & Scout! These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our site and purchasing our guides. We've written them in plain language because we're foragers, not lawyers — but they are still legally binding. By using this site you agree to them.

1. Using This Site

Spore & Scout is an educational resource for foragers. You may browse, read, and purchase our guides for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, copy, redistribute, or resell any content from this site without our written permission.

2. Purchasing Digital Guides

Our guides are digital downloads delivered immediately after purchase. Because we can't "take back" a digital file once you've received it, all sales on digital products are final — there are no refunds on digital downloads. Please read the product descriptions carefully before you buy.

If you have any trouble accessing your download, just email us at sporeandscout@launchyard.app and we'll sort it out right away.

3. Membership Access

If we offer a subscription or membership in the future, you'll get access to member content for as long as your subscription is active. Access ends when the subscription ends or is cancelled. We'll always give you clear notice of any pricing changes before they take effect.

4. Content Ownership

All content on Spore & Scout — including text, photos, illustrations, guide PDFs, and any other materials — is owned by Spore & Scout. It is protected by copyright. Purchasing a guide gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read and use it for your own foraging. It does not give you the right to share, copy, or sell it.

5. Disclaimer & Liability

Foraging involves real risk. All content on this site is for educational purposes only. We are not liable for any harm, illness, injury, or loss that results from using information found here. Please read our full Foraging Disclaimer — it is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note the new date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
